Dongle number is the unique code for each scanner to track, you could find both on the device and the software.

You can get the Dongle Number in 2 locations: 

Location 1: Open the software and go to setting, you will see the Dongle Number detected by the software. 

Location 2: Look for the serial number at the base of your Thunk3D 3D Laser Scanner. The last 6 characters are the Dongle number of your 3D laser scanner.
